Nina Markil holds a Master's of Science degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from Florida Atlantic University. In addition, she is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as a Clinical Exercise Specialist and as a Health Fitness Specialist. Nina is also a certified yoga instructor through Yoga Alliance. She has worked as an exercise physiologist in cardiac rehabilitation, a lifestyle coordinator in corporate worksite wellness, and as a college level teacher in Florida Atlantic University's undergraduate Exercise Science department.
Growing up in Palm Beach County, Nina was a member of the Skating Club of Florida and has trained with numerous professionals throughout career. She began skating in 1996 as a freestyle skater, but then fell in love with the athleticism and artistry of ice dancing. Nina is currently working towards Gold medals in Moves in the Field and Ice Dancing. She is a member and registered coach of the USFSA and accredited by the PSA.
